How to get there

From Yangon/Myanmar to Kawthaung (Victoria Point)

There are four air lines from Yangon to Kawthaung (Victoria Point).

4. By Bus and Express Ferry Boat

  • From Yangon (ETD 14:30 )to Kawthaung (ETA 21:00)buy Local Express Bus
  • From Yangon (ETD 14:30 ) to Myeik (ETA 11:30) buy Local Express Bus
  • Myeik (ETA 11:30) half day sightseeing and overnight at Hotel in Myeik.
  • From Myeik (ETD 11:00  )to Kawthaung (ETA 21:00) buy Local Express Bus
  • From Myeik (ETD 07:00) to Kawthaung (ETA 16:00) by express ferry boat costs about 40USD for one person.

From Bangkok/Thailand to Kawthaung (Victoria Point)

You must first get to Ranong which is the border town on the pakchan river.

From Bangkok/Thailand to Ranong/Thailand

  1. From Bangkok to Ranong by night bus costs 660THB/pax. Arrive in Ranong early morning and you will have to get to Saphan Pla Jetty.
  2. Direct flight from Bangkok to Ranong by NOK AIR (daily ETD 06:05 AM ETA 08:00 AM).Take a taxi to the Saphan Pla Jetty from Ranong airport it takes about 30 minitues and costs round about 500THB. Distance between Ranong airport to Down town is 21 km.

From Phuket to Ranong

  1. Taxi costs about 5000THB and Local Bus costs 500THB it takes about 4 hours.

From Ranong/Thailand  to Kawthaung (Victoria Point)/Myanmar

After immigration clearance at Saphan Pla Jetty embark on the wooden long tail boat which takes about 45 minitues.There are two checkpoints along the way where the boat man has to show your passport to immigration officers. Usually you won't have to get off from the boat. The trip across the river will cost about 400THB for private wooden longtail boat. You can also join a regular in wooden longtail boat that will cost about 50THB for one person. When you disembark from the longtail boat at Kawthaung Myoma Jetty you can find the Burmese Immigraiton is your right hand side at the Myoma Jetty (5 minutes walk from long tail jetty). Transportation: Bangkok - Ranong

  • Bangkok- Ranong by private van or highway bus
  • Bangkok-Surat Thaini by flight and Surat Thani to Ranong by car (2½ hours)
  • Bangkok-Phuket by flight and Phuket to Ranong by car (4 hours)
  • Bangkok-Phuket by Bus. The bus leaves from the bus terminal (Sai-Tai-Mai in Thai) at 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. It takes 9 hours to get to Ranong and costs about 428 Baht per person.
  • Bangkok-Chumphon by train and Chumphon-Ranong by car
  • There are International Direct Flights to Phuket from Sydney (Jetstar), Perth (TG), Singapore (Silk Air), Air Asia , Hong Kong (CathyPacific), Kula Lumpur (Malaysia Airline).

Transportation: Bangkok - Phuket

Car :

Take Bangkok Thonburi – Pak-Tor (Highway 35) and then take Petchkasem Road (Highway 4) through to Phetchaburi Province, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Muang District of Chumphon District Kraburi, District Kaepars, District Muang of Ranong, District Curaburi, Takua Pa district, Muang District of Phang Nga Province and Takua Thung Ban Khok Loy of Phang Nga. Then cross Sarasin bridge to Phuket. Bangkok to Phuket is 862 km.

Train :

No rail service from Bangkok directly to Phuket. If you want to go by train please go to Surat railway station. (In Punpin District) And then take bus to Phuket takes about 4 hours. For more information please contact State Railway of Thailand.

Bus :

Transportation Company Limited have buses simple style and Air Conditioned. Transportation company runs buses South Station (Sai Tai mai) to Phuket daily. For details contact the private company Central Phuket Tours Phuket Tour, Bangkok - Phuket Tourism and Phuket bus terminal.

Airline :

Thai Airways International Ltd. (Public) have flights from Bangkok to Phuket, every day such as Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Thai Air Asia, One-Two-Go and Nok Air. Special : Now Nok Air and One-Two-Go open flights between Phuket – Hat-Yai.

Transportation: Bangkok - Hwa Hin

Car :

From Bangkok you can go to Hua-Hin by bus 2 routes

First Route :


Route to Thonburi-Pak-Tor (Highway 35) via Samutsakhon Province and Samutsongkhram, Then turn left on to Petchkasem Road. (Highway 4) through to Phetchaburi Province into the Prachuap-Khiri-Khan Province. Total distance approximately 280 km. trip takes about 3.5 hours.

Second Route :


Route to Petchkasem Road (Highway 4) via Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom province Bugha-Monthon into Prachuap-Khiri-Khan Province. Total distance approximately 320 km. trip takes about 4 hours.

Bus :

Transportation line from South Station Boromrachachonnani Road. Transportation Company have service bus lines daily from

  1. Bangkok - Prachuap Khiri Khan
  2. Bangkok - Hua Hin
  3. Bangkok - Pranburi
  4. Bangkok - Bang Sa-Phan.

Hua-Hin – Pran-Bu-Ri Tour Co.,Ltd. / 04:00 AM. until 22:20 PM.
Pud-Tan Tour co.,Ltd. / 06:00 AM. until 01:00 PM.
Bang-Saphan Tour / car off at 07:00 AM. (only one time) on Monday-Friday, If Saturday have 2 times = 07:00 AM. and 07:30 AM.

Train :

From Hua Lamphong railway station provides train line south through daily Hua Hin, Prachuap-Khiri-Khan and Pranburi local train Bangkok - Hua Hin. Departure from Bangkok to Hua Hin at 09.25 AM. Arrive at Hua-Hin 13.45 pm and Saturday - Sunday and public holidays have a procession of vehicles Pradipatts pine garden tour to a morning or evening return from Thonburi Station. The Thonburi train - Langsuan out time 07.20 AM. arrive at Hua-Hin 11.52 AM.

Airline :

Siam General Aviation Co.,Ltd. Services direct flight to Bangkok - Hua Hin daily 4 flights per day at 08.00 AM. / 11.30 AM. / 15.00 PM. And 18.30 PM. takes about 40 minutes.

 


HOW TO GET TO ANDAMAN RESORT

Yangon to Kawthaung takes 1 hr 40 min by domestic airlines. Myanmar Immigration Check Point at Kawthaung (Victoria Point) to Andaman Resort by speed boat (1 hr 40 min). One Two Go airlines also operate daily from Bangkok to Phuket and Surat Thani. It takes about 5 hours drive from Phuket to Ranong and 3 hours and 30 minutes drive from Surat Thani to Ranong by private taxi. From Yangon to Myeik (Mergui) 1 hr by domestic airlines and 14 hrs cruise from Myeik to our resort. Also by cruise or yacht from Phuket, Krabi and Hat Yai of Thailand.

Southern Thailand Train line

Runs from Bangkok to Singapore along the east side of peninsula Thailand. Connections
to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan Krabi and Phuket are served by combo tickets which include bus and boat transfers. Return tickets are via Surathani station. Koh Tao is served by Chumphon station. We can issue tickets to Had Yai and 2nd class to Butterworth.
