Lon Khwet island is located near Zar Det Kyee island which is a navy base and a reserved Marine Park. Some caves on the island are full of Swift-let birds which build bird nest with its own vomit. Lon Khwet island also lines up with Ko Phayam and Ko Chang of Thailand islands at the same Latitude.
